SeTNYF’s Farm Olympics this year was a great success!
From the Feathers and Fruit fencing race, the Sequatchie Cove multi-generational egg toss, to concluding the day with a homemade potluck-style dinner and a community dance featuring the Cumberland Mountain Music Makers, around 200 men, women, and children gathered in Sale Creek (a new location for Farm Olympics) to uplift young farmers all around Tennessee, as well as the sacred lifestyle and labor of farming that must be uplifted and protected.

This year’s Farm Olympics was a beautiful way to gather as a community and engage with farming in an amusing and creative way. If you were not able to attend this year, please consider coming to Farm Olympics next summer and join in on the celebration to kick off the summer!

The market is popping this week with berries (sold out already!), summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower, and tender, nutritious greens.

We also have lots of delightful flower arrangements!

Garlic abounds from all around!
